This innovative 5-Step workshop includes 5 separate modules aimed at preparing learners for the workplace. Beginning with an in-depth tutorial on how to learn as well as the importance and constant requirement of learning for successful employees, this workshop then moves on to show Learners how they can best prepare for work in their selected field. Next, we walk learners through the ins and outs of career search platforms like CampusEd®, how to create an effective resume showcasing their new skills, as well as tips and tricks for completing standard job applications in order to stand out, write a cover letter as needed and master the interview.

To complete this workshop and ensure learners have the soft skills necessary for success on the job, this workshop also takes learners through the importance of customer service and sales and stresses all-important workplace safety habits and infection control measures. Finally, learners will complete instruction in workplace readiness and professionalism that covers the basics - how to dress appropriately for work, the importance of showing up on time, working collaboratively as a team and other intangibles employers REALLY want.
